Smile a While!

I am avid reader of readers digest and I was stumbled on the article “Lifes Like that” well, I came up on the Idea that I will write my own  short and funny experience.

As a young minister it was my duty to visit my church member every Saturdays afternoon.As I approached in the first house which is in my list of visitation I saw a little  girl in her 5 playing the dirt with her plastic toys scattered around. I asked her: Hi sweety, is your father around? she replied with slow and broken voice: My father is not here..he is working at my grandma bakery I smiled and asked her again: Is your father is a baker? she replied:No! he is feeding the pigs! 

As a painter its my style to set aside my unfinished painting on the corner if my mind is tired and wandering somewhere and resume my job after I refreshed myself. One afternoon my 5 years-old son Isaac setting beside me observing my work with curiosity. after 20 minutes he became annoying and asking and touching my tools. So, I decided to get some food to stop him of being annoy. I asked him to stay where he is and don’t touch anything. After 5 minutes or more  I came back with biscuits and a glass of juice for him. as I approached to the  canvass I saw him standing beside it , with his redish huge eyes looking at me, hiding my figure brush  on his back! He shout Paps! I finished your work! he just ruined my 3 months old unfinished painting!

I was invited to a church about 85 miles from my home church to preach on their Sunday worship service, I arrived at my friend’s parsonage (also a minister) Saturday evening just behind the church building. but,  his wife were  out of town to attend their Lady’s seminar. after dinner he asked me to sleep on their room because the other room is under repair , so I decided to sleep with him. during midnight he begun to hugged and put my head on his arm and he kissed me. In my curiosity I pushed my elbow on his chest and he opened his eyes and he exclaim “Ohh my God! I thought you were my wife!”
